An opportunity is available for an Oncology Pharmacist to support a community health system in El Centro, CA. This role offers the chance to collaborate closely with nurses and providers to optimize medication therapy for oncology patients in a smaller, patient-focused setting.
Location:
- El Centro, CA
- Monday to Friday, day shifts
- Contract, 13 weeks duration
- Temp-to-hire potential for the right candidate
- Oversee and manage oncology medication therapies to ensure safety and efficacy
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nurses and healthcare providers
- Provide expert pharmaceutical care to oncology patients within a community health system environment
- Ensure compliance with applicable pharmacy regulations and standards
- Active California pharmacist license (required)
- Solid experience in oncology pharmacy practice
- Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) credential preferred
- Ability to thrive in a smaller, community health system setting with close team interactions
