Advisors can set up custom investment templates, access factor investing strategies, utilize passive strategies, actively manage taxes, and apply ESG investing and SRI screens according to the specific needs, preferences, and objectives of individual clients.HOW YOU WILL ADD VALUEThe primary role of the Product Specialist - Envestnet is driving sales growth with Envestnet firms. This is achieved by:Providing sales support to the Head of Envestnet Retail Sales to raise CANVAS assets with Envestnet firms.Partnering with the Franklin Templeton generalist sales team that sell to advisors using the Envestnet platform to generate CANVAS salesBeing an expert on direct indexing and custom indexingEffectively collaborating with other members of the OSAM Client Service, Portfolio Management, Operations, Tech and Relationship Management teamsSupport and work closely with Head of Envestnet Retail Sales to promote CANVASEducate and promote CANVAS throughout Franklin Templeton internal sales teams and partner firmsDevelop an in-depth understanding of CANVAS workflows and work closely with Client Service on a daily basisEducate Franklin Templeton sales teams, clients and prospects on the value of Custom/Direct Indexing and key differentiators offered by CANVASDevelop new advisor relationships and retain and deepen existing relationshipsDemonstrate the ability to be a utility player able to flex between operations, analysis, and client facing activitiesTake ownership of follow-up communicationWork with resources/teams to prepare home office and advisor-specific marketing and education collateral based on internal and external requestsWork with other internal teams to manage ongoing account onboarding and service requests in a timely mannerDemonstrate a comprehensive understanding of industry and financial advisor practicesAbility to articulate the value of custom/direct indexing and become a true partner to financial advisor clientsWHAT WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLEEXPERIENCEApproximately 3 - 5 years of experience of direct indexing sales, asset management or investment management experienceCurrent Series 66 license or ability to obtain oneExperience working with a turnkey asset management platform/program (TAMP)Basic understanding of equity investment landscape, portfolio management, financial planning and investment vehiclesExperience working with financial advisorsPROFESSIONAL SKILLSAcute focus on client satisfaction/serviceHigh level communication and presentation skillsAbility to work independently and hold oneself accountable for resultsWillingness to learn from others and participate in a "team first" environmentAbility to effectively problem solve in a timely mannerSuperior work ethicComfortable working in a fast-paced environmentAbility to manage multiple tasks effectivelySelf-starter, able to proactively identify opportunities for process improvementStrong time management and organizational skillsIntellectual curiosityWORK LOCATIONThis role can be based out of Stamford (CT), Boston (MA), Saint Petersburg (FL), or New York City (NY).Franklin Templeton offers employees a competitive and valuable range of total rewards--monetary and non-monetary--designed to support the whole person and to recognize their time, talents, and results. Along with base compensation, other compensation is offered such as a discretionary bonus, 401k plan, health insurance, and other perks. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Franklin Templeton, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation.
