Primary Skills: Animation-Advanced, After Effects-Expert, Figma-Advanced, UI Motion-Advanced, Prototyping-Intermediate Duration: 6 Months (Possible Extension) Contract Type: W2 Only Location: San Diego, CA Pay Rate: $110-115/hr on W2 basis JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a highly skilled Motion Designer with a strong focus on creating design systems for web and app products. The ideal candidate will have proficient skills in UI motion and narrative illustrative animations, as well as the ability to produce motion prototypes and translate them into production-ready assets. This role involves close collaboration with developers to ensure quality assurance and implementation of motion designs. JOB REQUIREMENTS Design and implement UI motion and narrative illustrative animations for web and app products. Develop motion prototypes and create production-ready assets, such as Lottie animations. Engage with developers for motion specs handoff and to oversee the QA and implementation process. Utilize animation software Adobe After Effects and plugins (Overlord, Flow, Bodymovin) to create advanced animations. Work proficiently with design software Figma to contribute to visual and interaction design. Must have Skills Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects and relevant plugins. Strong understanding of visual and interaction design for product experiences. Ability to work with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
