Responsibilities Provide exceptional nursing care for 4SW Med Surg/Oncology patients. Supervise nursing interventions and assign related tasks to team members. Assess patient, family, and staff learning needs and deliver appropriate clinical education. Promote effective working relationships within an interdisciplinary team of dedicated professionals. Collaborate to develop and implement a care plan, including detailed care instructions. Salary Salary range: $62.43 - $92.81 hourly. Qualifications Current, valid California RN license, required. BSN or MSN, required. BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association, required; ACLS, preferred. 6+ months recent (within 6 months) acute RN experience, required; Oncology and/or Intermediate Care/PCU experience, preferred. Oncology Certified RN or other professional nursing certification, preferred. Skill in implementing appropriate nursing interventions on a consistent basis. Ability to perform historical, physical, and behavioral patient assessments. Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans actively involving patients, family, and staff. Official transcripts and/or original diploma from a registered nursing program must be provided upon hire.
