Excelcare at Lewes is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Unit Manager to join our leadership team in our skilled nursing facility. The Unit Manager plays a vital role in overseeing the daily clinical operations of a nursing unit, ensuring high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and strong support for nursing staff. This position is ideal for an LPN who is passionate about leadership, teamwork, and providing compassionate, resident-centered care. RN Unit Manager Responsibilities Oversee the daily clinical operations of the assigned nursing unit Supervise, support, and mentor LPNs and CNAs on the unit Ensure residents receive high-quality nursing care in accordance with care plans and physician orders Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes with physicians and interdisciplinary team members Complete and review documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations Participate in care plan meetings and collaborate with other departments to support resident needs Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers Address staff concerns and help maintain a positive, team-oriented work environment RN Unit Manager Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in DE Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred Leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care If you are a motivated and compassionate professional looking to make a difference in the lives of others, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.
