Role scope

• Primary leadership across Maintenance, Engineering, Printing interfaces, Production support, and Facilities.
• Direct oversight of maintenance employees and technical talent development.

Core accountabilities

• Maximize production volume while achieving cost targets through world-class maintenance and engineering practices.
• Assure uptime by maintaining plant facilities and production equipment to defined standards.
• Own the plant capital budget and engineering expense budget; partner with operations to surface and validate capital opportunities.
• Author and submit CARs; coordinate all capital activities to safe, timely start-up.
• Enable production through responsive engineering support; communicate and roll out manufacturing and technical initiatives.
• Manage the AOP budget, including technical salaries, building and grounds, maintenance materials, and utilities.
• Meet environmental compliance requirements and reinforce safety programs across the site.
• Lead hiring, salary administration, performance management (including disciplinary actions), employee development, and compensation reviews.

Qualifications

• BA or BS preferred in Industrial Management, Engineering, or Business.
• Minimum 5 years in manufacturing with at least 3 years supervising teams; preference for paper or consumer packaging environments.
• Demonstrated knowledge of statistical methods and process improvement techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills; able to influence at every level.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Evidence of strong team-building and proven leadership.
