Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with remote telemetry monitoring for a patient population ranging from adolescents to geriatrics
• Manage a patient assignment within a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio on a 38-bed unit with an average daily census of 33
• Utilize electronic health record and medication dispensing systems to document and administer care accurately
• Communicate effectively using structured communication frameworks to ensure continuity and safety of patient care
• Float within the facility and within scope of practice as operationally needed
• Adhere to holiday and weekend scheduling requirements, including every-other-weekend rotation and applicable major holiday coverage

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse experience; first-time travelers accepted
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Proficiency with Epic (required), Pyxis, and SBAR communication methodology
• All requested time off must be finalized at time of submission; no schedule changes or RTO requests permitted post-offer or during orientation week
• Full compliance with onboarding requirements must be completed within required deadlines to avoid start date delays

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Medical Surgical setting with telemetry monitoring
• Familiarity with a broad range of medical-surgical diagnoses across varied patient age groups
