Research coordinator I Pulmonary Research

Site: The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. Job Summary The Clinical Research Coordinator supports day‑to‑day operations of clinical research studies in accordance with established policies, regulatory requirements, and study protocols. The role assists with participant recruitment and retention, coordinates study visits, collects and records research data, and helps ensure accurate documentation and timely study‑related communications. The coordinator works closely with investigators, research staff, stakeholders, and participants to promote efficient study execution and protocol compliance. Key Responsibilities Follow up with enrolled participants by phone regarding survey responses. Enter and maintain participant data in the study database. Process and submit participant payments. Schedule and coordinate study visits. Assist with recruitment efforts. Support Institutional Review Board submissions and other regulatory documentation. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study required. Experience: Some relevant research project work 0‑1 year preferred; experience cannot be used in lieu of a degree. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Careful attention to detail and good organizational skills. • Ability to follow directions. • Good interpersonal and communication skills. • Computer literacy. • Working knowledge of clinical research protocols. • Ability to demonstrate respect and professionalism for subjects’ rights and individual needs.
