Crofton Country Club in Crofton, MD seeks Assistant Superintendent Crofton Country Club is a private club located in the suburbs of Crofton, about a 30 minute drive from both Washington DC and Baltimore. Although built in 1964 CCC remains a challenging, yet fun course for all skill levels. CCC is in the process of completing a re-grassing of the fairways from the current cool season mix of Bent/Rye/Poa to Zeon Zoysia. We have completed 8/14 fairways and all the approaches from about 30-40 yards from the green have been re-grassed to Zeon, including all par 3s. We are scheduled to re-sod 2 more fairways this June Fairways : The front 9 and #18 fairways are Zeon Zoysia, the rest are a mix of Bent/Rye/Poa/Common Bermuda Rough : Tall Fescue/Rye/Poa mix The Assistant will report directly to the Superintendent to help plan spray/fertilizer application, water management schedules, and daily maintenance duties, irrigation repairs The goal everyday is to be out the door and on our way home by 4pm everyday.
