Litigation Attorney

Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging and rewarding legal matters within the healthcare industry. The successful candidate will have a strong background in healthcare litigation, healthcare compliance, and regulatory compliance. They will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of complex matters, including disputes involving hospitals, physicians, and medical practices. Salary $115,000 - $135,000 per year Benefits Medical insurance Vision insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid maternity leave Paid paternity leave Job Details Responsibilities Handle all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and trial. Provide legal advice and guidance on matters related to healthcare compliance and regulatory compliance. Represent hospitals, physicians, and medical practices in disputes and litigation. Conduct legal research and analysis to provide advice on complex legal matters. Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting healthcare clients. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with trusted and reliable legal counsel. Ensure that all activities are carried out in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the State Bar of Michigan. A minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare litigation, healthcare compliance, and regulatory compliance. Proven track record of successfully representing clients in litigation. Strong understanding of laws and regulations affecting hospitals, physicians, and medical practices. Exceptional legal research and writing skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex legal matters. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
