Requirements

• X-ray / Radiography Certification

Experience: Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.
Certification: Must hold a valid X-ray certification (per Virginia state requirements).
Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills and a patient-focused, empathetic demeanor.
Attributes: Highly organized, dependable, and capable of multitasking in a clinical environment.

Job Description

Clinical Support: Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during a variety of family and cosmetic procedures.
Operatory Management: Efficiently set up and break down treatment rooms while maintaining rigorous sterilization and infection control standards.
Imaging & Documentation: Capture high-quality dental X-rays and ensure accurate patient charting and record updates.
Patient Advocacy: Educate patients on post-operative care and dental hygiene to ensure a positive recovery experience.
Operational Flow: Monitor clinical inventory and assist with administrative tasks to keep the office running smoothly.
