Warehouse Worker

Quality Staffing, Inc., also doing business as Goddard Mason Executive Search, a leading full-service employment agency matching qualified talent with some of the area's top companies, is looking for experienced Warehouse Workers to work through our agency as a contract employee with the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (TN MHSAS) in Chattanooga, TN. This is an on-site position working from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday for a total of 37.5 hours per week. The pay rate for this position is $16.00 per hour.

Warehouse Worker Job Description:

The Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services is seeking dedicated and efficient Warehouse Workers to join their team. This position will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of their warehouse by managing inventory, picking and packing orders, and ensuring on-time deliveries.

Warehouse Worker Key Responsibilities will include:

• Receive & Process: Unload incoming shipments, inspect for damage, and verify contents against purchase orders.
• Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and deliver items for unit orders.
• Inventory Control: Stock inventory in designated locations and participate in inventory counts and audits.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse machinery such as pallet jacks and delivery carts.
• Safety & Maintenance: Adhere to all safety protocols, keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipping, and receiving data.

Requirements & Qualifications Needed for Warehouse Worker position:

• Experience: Proven experience as a warehouse worker; 1-2 years preferred.
• Skills: Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail.
• Physical Ability: Ability to lift heavy objects (typically up to 50 lbs.), stand for long periods, and work in varied warehouse temperatures.
• Technical Skills: Excel, Word and email; ability to learn new computer programs.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
