Join us!Job Description:This job is responsible for overseeing and executing substantive anti-money laundering, economic sanctions compliance and fraud risk practices. Key responsibilities include working directly with, or through Money Laundering Reporting Officers or Compliance Officers, Front-Line Units (FLUs) and Control Functions (CFs) to execute key anti-financial crime processes, tasks and risk management exercises.Responsibilities:Advises and directs the development and maintenance of financial crimes owned policies and standards, and reviews relevant Front-Line Units/Control Functions-owned policies and standards to address applicable regulatory requirements, financial crime risks and operational risksProduces and/or oversees independent financial crimes risk management reporting to Global Risk Management (GRM) Senior Leaders, FLU/CF Senior Leaders, and Legal Entity/Branch Senior ManagementMonitors the changes in laws, rules and regulations, regulatory guidance, and national and supranational assessments and guidance applicable to Global Financial Crimes, including advising business leaders, directing the appropriate areas to implement or amend policies, standards, procedures and/or processes to address regulatory requirements or financial crime risks, and challenging the implementation plan as neededCompletes and oversees the completion of Risk and Threat Assessments, Monitoring and Testing Activities, Regulatory Questionnaires and Returns, Regulatory Impact Assessments and other core financial crime programme-related tasks in response to cyclical and ad-hoc requirementsParticipates in industry forums and monitors regulatory expectations, emerging legislation and regulation, political scrutiny, litigation and key influencers to identify and mitigate emerging risksEscalates financial crimes related risks and issues to appropriate governance routines, management/board level committeesIdentifies, aggregates, reports, escalates, inspects, and challenges the remediation and thematic analysis of FLU/CF-owned issues and control enhancements related to financial crimesReviews and challenges internal and external events and incidents, including the development of remediation plans to strengthen controls and providing oversight to ensure they are addressed appropriatelyManagerial Responsibilities:This position may also have responsibilities for managing associates.
