Overview: Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Medicine/Step Down Unit 1-10K. $15,000.00 Sign-on bonus for experienced nurses and New Grads $7,500 Sign on Bonus!

Shift: FT (36-hours/week) - Days 7a-7p

Facility/Unit: Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, a 569-bed tertiary care facility, is home to the area's only Level I Trauma Center and burn trauma unit. Come join the team on 10K - a 24-bed step down unit.

Job Description: Sentara is a career destination for professional nursing. The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive, patient-centered care in a dynamic healthcare setting. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, delivering treatments, and supporting patients and families with education and compassionate service. The RN collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to monitor patient progress, make clinical adjustments, and advocate for the best patient outcomes, ensuring safety and adherence to evidence-based practices.

Education: ADN required, BSN or higher preferred

Certification/Licensure: RN VA or Compact State license in good standing. BLS
