Radiologic Technologist Interventional Radiology Atlanta GA
Pay From: $39 Per Hour
MUST: The interventional radiology tech should have the following:
- 1 + years of experience as a radiology tech
- ARRT Certification
- Experience with C-Arm and Ultrasound equipment-interventional radiology
- Must have experienced in the endovascular field
- Experience assisting in interventional radiology procedures
- Experience monitoring and overseeing equipment
- Interventional Radiology certificate preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- BLS
- Review procedure orders to determine materials and supplies needed
- Explain procedures to patients
- Prepare patients for procedures
- Assist with endovascular procedures
- Set up procedure room with necessary equipment
- Draw up Intravenous medication
- Enter patient data into C-Arm
- Processes X-ray images and save
- Attend meetings with physicians
- Enter CPT and ICD-9 codes for billing and ensure accuracy
- Maintain and order supplies
