Acts Intuitively Therapy is seeking dedicated and skilled Physical Therapists to join our team in Franklin Square, New York. This full-time, onsite role within our rehabilitation facility will allow you to leverage your expertise to assist patients in their journey of recovery and rehabilitation. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians to determine their needs and establish effective treatment plans.
• Implement and oversee rehabilitation programs tailored for diverse patient demographics, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine.
• Deliver exceptional patient experiences through compassionate customer service, fostering an encouraging atmosphere for recovery.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes, utilizing contemporary practices grounded in research.
• Provide therapeutic care not only in-clinic but also at patients' homes as per the individualized care plans set forth by administering physicians.
• Educate patients and their families, ensuring they understand treatment protocols and empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
• Monitor and manage utilization metrics, fulfilling specified business goals that aim for holistic patient satisfaction and organizational efficiency.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will serve a diverse clientele, including individuals recovering from injuries, surgeries, chronic conditions, and those seeking rehabilitation after sports-related setbacks. Each patient presents unique needs and requires specialized care approaches. The focus is always on creating personalized treatment plans that foster recovery and enhance quality of life, ensuring that each patient's voice and experience are at the forefront of their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program recognized by the APTA or CAPTE.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, along with a valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• Essential certifications, including Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association, to ensure patient safety during care.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Proficiency in word processing and computer skills to manage patient records and documentation efficiently.
• An innate ability to build rapport with patients, encouraging them to surpass their functional limitations.
• A passion for positive interactions and relationship building within the community to support health initiatives.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience in specialty areas such as orthopedic therapy, sports rehabilitation, or pediatric therapy will be advantageous. Previous roles that required teamwork and collaboration in a healthcare setting will also prove beneficial as you work in harmony with fellow clinicians and support staff.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, along with a performance-based incentive structure designed to reward your contributions to the team's success.
