Therapy - OT Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Acute Care Client Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1 year of inpatient acute care hospital experience required License: Valid state license required; Compact license must be in hand at submission Certifications: BLS, NBCOT Must-Have: Must have inpatient acute care hospital experience Description:We are seeking a well-rounded candidate specializing in acute care occupational therapy.The position involves providing therapy services to adult and geriatric patients in a short-term acute care setting.Candidates must have the capacity to float between different units as needed.Weekend shifts will fluctuate, requiring availability for 2-4 weekends per month.The role is focused on patient assessment, evaluation, and education for discharge planning.Experience with charting in an electronic system is a requirement.Expected job duties will include planning care, reassessments, and ensuring safety and injury prevention.Candidates must be flexible in scheduling and may be expected to work three of five major holidays.References covering one year within the last three years will be requested during the compliance process.The ideal candidate should be prepared for an interview and must not contact facility personnel directly. #J-18808-Ljbffr Cynet Health
