INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER

Job Title

The role involves oversight to project/program engineers and program analysts, providing novel, complex, and unique management and operations assignments.

The duties include:

• Utilizing an engineering approach to management and operational problems, advising management and/or production officials on systems and procedures.
• Serving as a principal point of contact for production and maintenance resource requirements planning and inventory control and coordination of integrated logistics support planning.
• Conducting studies of contractors' capabilities to produce critical products required by SWFLANT.
• Developing, implementing, analyzing, and monitoring a variety of management information systems, utilizing program-unique systems and generic business applications.
• Participating in or directing the development of technical directives delineating methods and processes for the efficient and economical production.
• Ensuring all manufacturing/production planning and management issues are addressed and participating in program reviews of SWFLANT contract facilities.
