Nammo Perry is a center of excellence for the design, development, and production of munitions and pyrotechnic products for the U.S. Department of Defense. Nammo employees working at the Florida site manufacture all types of 40mm low and high velocity ammunition; pyrotechnic marking; signaling and tactical illumination devices; battlefield effects training simulators; demolition charges; hand grenade fuzes; and other ammunition components. Additionally, they provide load, assemble, and pack (LAP) services for large caliber direct-fire ammunition. The Program Manager will organize, direct, and coordinate planning and implementation of all contract support activities, interface with government personnel, secure ongoing program opportunities, and utilize company resources to achieve project technical objectives. Unique Benefits Designed With Care Monday - Thursday work week working 10-hour days Relocation assistance may be provided 401(K) with a 6% company match 100% Employer-Paid Employee Only Medical Plan Option Employer Health Saving Account Contributions Generous PTO and nine paid holidays What You’ll Do: Precision in Action Establishes and coordinates the production schedules for technical and operational performance of specific company manufacturing programs Serves as lead for internal Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and facilitate coordination of internal and external resources to ensure program success Adequately and clearly communicates programmatic priorities and actions to ensure all internal and external customers stay well informed Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules, develops solutions to program problems and directs work of support personnel assigned to the program from various departments Ensures projects are completed on time, within budget and exceed all quality and performance requirements; maintain programmatic Estimates at Complete (EAC) and Estimates to Complete (ETC) Maintains action lists for assigned programs and ensures timely completion, including corrective actions, opportunities for improvement, continuous improvement, or customer-assigned requirements Maintain adherence to Company policies and procedures, safety and environmental standards, and good housekeeping practices Assists in negotiation of contracts and contractual changes and coordinates preparation of proposals, plans, specifications and financial conditions (estimates at completion) of contracts Act as company point of contact with customer and participate in Integrated Product Team(s) (IPT), comprised of customer and company representatives Maintain good employee relations, and adherence to affirmative action plan, labor laws, and EEO rules and regulations Other duties as assigned What Dedicated Teammates Bring Bachelor’s degree required; in Engineering or Business preferred 2+ years Production Supervision or Project Management experience preferred Excellent communication skills, both oral and written Good briefing skills Results oriented / Self Starter Ability to establish credibility and be decisive Good organization and record keeping skills Strong reasoning abilities Knowledge of pyrotechnic/ordnance manufacturing preferred Familiarity with program/contract management standard concepts, practices, and procedures Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) and Project Management Software (Microsoft Project or Comparable) Well-developed interpersonal skills Appreciation of confidentiality of information Attentive to accuracy and detail Preferably one or more years’ experience in program or contract management Familiar with standard DoD concepts, practices, and procedures Our Woking Conditions And Requirements Must submit to and pass a drug test pursuant to Company Drug-free Workforce Policy which includes random testing Must have good vision (may be corrected) Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time Must have stamina to work more than the scheduled workday when needed, including nights and weekends Must be able to pick up, handle, and work with paper Must be able to travel Must have or be able to obtain valid Passport for international travel Must have valid driver’s license #J-18808-Ljbffr Nammo Defense Systems Inc.
