Class A Truck Driver
Trillium Drivers is now seeking CDL Class A Truck Drivers in Troy, MI for a temp-to-hire opportunity!
Pay rate is $27-$30 per hour with OT after 40 hours. Schedule is Tuesday-Saturday, first shift starting between 4am and 7am, 10-12 hours per day.
Position Overview
-Multiple deliveries of food product to stores and restaurants.
-Un/loading with an electric pallet jack.
-Operating an automatic sleep cab.
-Hauling a 53 foot refer.
-Drivers will encounter some tighter areas and should be confident of their skills.
-Operating the company vehicle safely and responsibly.
-Ensure product is secure within the trailer.
-Complete all necessary paperwork.
Miscellaneous
-Excellent customer service skills are required.
-Must have prior delivery experience.
-Driver will have a full week of training with a trainer.
-Opportunity to earn a sign-on bonus after 6-months of being employed.
-Potential overnight will be required.
-Proper and thorough pre and post trips are crucial.
-Must be self-directed, self-motivated, confident, and decisive.
-Must have knowledge of DOT regulations, electronic logging devices, and hours of service rules.
Qualifications
-Valid CDL Class A license.
-At least 2+ years of recent and verifiable CDL Class A driving experience.
-Valid DOT medical card.
-Clean MVR.
-Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
-Clean criminal background.
-No clearinghouse violations.
