That's why we live different, play different.The Production Lead will oversee the day to day tactical operations of a manufacturing area in alignment with the business strategy to support Customer Requirements.What you'll do as a Production Lead:Ensure a physically and emotionally safe workplace for allSupport supervisor in proper staffing of both direct and indirect labor to meet production targetsOperate multiple machines within designated areaEnsure integrity of production numbers entered into ERP systemManage inventory locations both physically and in ERP systemEnsure employee conduct meets the values established by CartamundiAssist in overseeing the performance of direct and indirect reportsAssist Supervisor in training all staff to quality metrics, safety metrics, and performance metricsEnsure line quality metrics are metProvide timely constructive feedback to direct reports and project teams to ensure output is in accordance with expectationsMaintain positive, collaborative relationships with direct reports and project teams to promote a high level of commitment and engagementInform supervisor when materials, personnel and/or equipment are down or outRemain current in manufacturing technologies that support sustainability and a competitive edge for overall organizational health and growthLead by example, displaying day-to-day leadership behavior that builds a collaborative, positive culture in support of organizational health and growthWe're looking for a Production Lead with:Previous Technical Training and 2+ Years of progressive manufacturingPrefer two (2) years in a direct supervisory role, overseeing individual contributors and leading production staff in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferable in a high-tech, equipment intensive manufacturing facilityDemonstrated ability to build and maintain cross functional, collaborative teamsIn depth knowledge and application of Lean manufacturing principlesDemonstrated knowledge of problem-solving techniques/strategiesProduction Reporting at the Operational levelAnalytical problem-solving skillsCompetent Computer Skills: MS Office, MRP/ERPPhysical requirements/working conditions:Our manufacturing Plant is comprised of enclosed office and manufacturing space.
