Legal Practice Assistant / New York City

New York City office of national law firm seeks motivated, hard-working Legal Practice Assistant. This is a non-litigation position that requires advanced document creation, formatting and expert proofreading skills. Looking for a self-starter who is able to generate flawless work while managing a busy desk with heavy client contact.

Responsibilities Expert Document Creation and Editing:

Draft, format, and edit high quality documents, including agreements and formal reports and letters to clients. Ensure correct spelling, grammar and layout consistency. Case Administration:

Manage a busy desk, keep files organized, and handle multiple administrative tasks smoothly. Client Relations:

Handle frequent client phone calls and emails in a professional manner. File Management:

Maintain highly structured digital files (physical files when necessary). Quickly learn and use new office and document management software. Confidentiality:

Protect all sensitive client and firm information. Requirements Document Expertise:

Exceptional document production skills: keen eye for detail, proofreading, formatting, and error-free output. Technical Skills:

Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Experience:

At least 1 year of experience in a legal administrative position. Communication Skills:

Strong written and verbal communication skills. Administrative Skills:
