Director of Global Sourcing FullTime Irving, TX, US 14 days ago Requisition ID: 1948 The Director of Global Sourcing is responsible for building, managing, and optimizing strategic relationships with global suppliers that support Energy Access Innovations’ supply chain operations. This leader will oversee supplier performance, contract management, sourcing collaboration, and supplier development to ensure reliability, cost efficiency, and quality across the supply chain. This role works closely with procurement, logistics, manufacturing, and operations teams to ensure supplier partnerships align with company growth objectives and global expansion initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Develop and executeglobal sourcingstrategies that align with EAI’s global supply chainobjectives. Build andmaintainstrong relationships with key suppliers across international markets. Serve as the primary escalation point forsupplier-related performance or operational issues. Partner with internal teams to ensure supplier capabilities align with operational and product requirements. Implement supplier performance scorecards and KPIs to monitor quality, delivery performance, cost efficiency, and compliance. Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and drive improvement initiatives when necessary. Ensure suppliers meet contractual, regulatory, and operational requirements. Support supplier risk management programs to ensure supply continuity. Collaborate with procurement and legal teams to negotiate supplier agreements and service-level expectations. Ensure contract compliance and support cost optimization initiatives through strategic supplier partnerships. Monitor supplier pricing structures and recommend opportunities for cost savings or efficiency improvements. Work closely with procurement,logistics, manufacturing, and operations teams to support supplier onboarding and supplier integration. Partner with global supply chain leadership to support sourcing strategies and supplier diversification. Support new product introduction (NPI) efforts by coordinating with suppliers on timelines, capabilities, and production readiness. Identifyopportunities to improve supplier capabilities, processes, and operational efficiency. Support the development of long-term strategic supplier partnerships. Drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen supplier reliability and performance. Lead and develop a supplier relations team responsible for supplier engagement and performance management. Establish best practices, tools, and processes for supplier relationship management. Promote collaboration between internal stakeholders and external supplier partners. All other duties assigned . Required Skills and Attributes: Strong supplier relationship management and strategic partnership development skills. Excellent negotiation and contract management abilities. Deep understanding of global supply chain operations, sourcing, and supplier management. Ability to analyze supplier performance data and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with procurement,logistics, operations, and manufacturing teams. Proven ability to manage multiple supplier relationships and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities . Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence internal and external partners. High attention to detail with strong organizational and project management abilities. Ability toidentifysupply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in supplier management, procurement, supply chain, or supplier relations. Experience managing supplier relationships within manufacturing, hardware, electronics, energy, or similar industries. Demonstrated experience negotiating supplier contracts and managing service-level agreements (SLAs). Experience working with ERP systems or supplier management platforms. Knowledge of global sourcing practices and international supplier networksis preferred. MBA or related master’s degree preferred. Physical Requirements: This position may require the ability to perform tasks that involve sitting, standing, walking, lifting 25+ lbs , computer work and other physical activities.
