Job Title : SharePoint UI/UX Web Developer

Job Type : Contract (2-month assignment)

Job Location : Onsite in Houston, TX 77002

Job Schedule: M-F,40 hours/week

Job Salary : $34-$36 (DOE)

Position Overview

The SharePoint UI/UX Web Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing user-centered web applications that balance visual appeal, usability, and performance. This role combines front-end development expertise with strong UI/UX design principles , translating business and user requirements into intuitive, responsive, and accessible digital experiences.

This is a hands-on role requiring close collaboration with business stakeholders, designers, and technical team members to deliver high-quality, production-ready web solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement modern web parts, sitearchitecture, and mega menus with SharePoint
• Design and develop responsive, user-focused webinterfaces using modern front-end technologies
• Translate wireframes, mockups, and user flows intofunctional, high-quality code
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirementsand ensure alignment with user experience goals
• Apply UI/UX best practices to enhance usability,accessibility, and visual consistency
• Conduct usability testing, troubleshoot issues, anditerate based on user feedback
• Optimize web applications for performance, scalability,and cross-browser compatibility
• Maintain and improve existing web applications toensure consistent user experience
• Ensure adherence to branding, accessibility standards(WCAG), and security best practices

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience specifically designing, improving,and building sites in SharePoint Online
• Proven experience as a UI/UX Web Developer, Front-EndDeveloper, or similar role
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworksor libraries (e.g., React, Vue, Angular)
• Solid understanding of UI/UX principles, usability, andresponsive design
• Experience converting design assets (e.g., Figma, AdobeXD, Sketch) into production code
• Strong attention to detail and design consistency
• Ability to work onsite in Houston, TX
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in Agile or sprint-based developmentenvironments
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG, ADA)
• Experience optimizing web applications for performanceand SEO
• Exposure to backend integration (APIs, RESTfulservices)
• Experienceworking in the public sector is helpful
