Baker and Packager Associate

Position Summary Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes and organization? Our Bakery/Packager associates prepare fresh baked items daily for our members through following recipes, wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise to ensure our members have the freshest items available to take home to their families. There are times when you will juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with their bakery orders. It’s hard work, but our bakery team finds it rewarding, especially since they’re a part of a large team with a common goal: happy, satisfied members. Be an Expert – Prepare bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs, operate baking equipment, follow recipes, wrap, label, store, maintain sanitation, ensure food safety, and demonstrate understanding of product layout. Be a Techie – Leverage digital tools, use handheld technology for real‑time decisions related to production, ordering, training, and quality control. Be an Owner – Commit to operational excellence, maintain work area, ensure quality and date control, secure fragile merchandise, eliminate waste, assist members with purchasing, and ensure proper packaging. Be a Talent Ambassador – Advocate for the department, model high‑quality service, execute basics with quality, exhibit energy and passion. Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics, using Open Door Policy. Complete work assignments, prioritize using policies and data, collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, identify priorities, communicate progress, recommend improvements, and adapt to change. Compensation The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. Additional premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
