Junior Field Technician

As a Junior Field Technician at Steri-Clea Illinois, you may respond to biohazard, trauma, hoarding, and extreme cleaning scenes. You will be doing work that genuinely helps people through some of the hardest moments of their lives. You'll work to safely clean, remediate, and restore residential and commercial properties, following strict safety protocols and company procedures from start to finish. This is a physically demanding, emotionally mature role that rewards people who take pride in doing hard work well. No prior industry experience is required — we provide full training. What we're looking for is reliability, a strong work ethic, and someone who wants to build a career with a company that promotes from within. If you have previous experience in cleaning, restoration, moving, or construction, you may be an even better fit.

Hours and schedule based on location

Able to perform solo jobs based on management discretion

Empathetic and professional communication with clients

Biohazard disposal

Site documentation

Cleaning and organizing vehicles

Basic tool/equipment knowledge

Knowledge of all policies (safety, HR, ECP, etc.)

We provide necessary training and certifications including Blood Borne Pathogens. However, the following Requirements/Qualifications MUST be met:

• Must live within 30 min. of the office which you are applying for
• Must have experience with power tools and have construction or restorations experience
• Must have valid driver's license, an MVR will be run
• Must have clean background, extensive background check will be run
• Must pass drug screening
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work in a respirator and full PPE for long periods
• Must be 21 years of age due to many of our vendor contracts
• Must be available to work 40+ hours per week
• Must be available to work at least 9 hours per day with 1 hour lunch and 15 minute break
• Must have reliable transportation to get to our office (work vehicles provided)
• Must have working cell phone
