Job Summary:
The Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT CERT) position is located at an ambulatory surgery center specializing in orthopedic surgery. This role involves supporting procedures such as sports medicine arthroscopy, anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) repairs, and joint replacements. The technician will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on orthopedic surgeries, ensuring smooth pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative processes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week, from 10/12/2026 to 01/11/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Certification as a surgical technician preferred; no specific experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with total joint replacement surgery is a plus.
• Unit Information: Ambulatory surgery center with a focus on orthopedic procedures, including 3 operating rooms, a 5 bay pre-op area, and a 5 bay post-anesthesia care unit.
• Typical Procedures: Sports medicine arthroscopy, ACL repairs, partial and total joint replacements, hand and foot surgeries.
• Personality Fit: Self-directed and adaptable to changing assignments with ease.
• Dress Code: Scrubs will be provided; attire within Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN) guidelines.
• Additional Information: No floating required. No weekends, nights, or call shifts; Monday through Friday schedule.
