Asset Management Junior Accountant (Hybrid)

Our client, a rapidly growing alternative investment manager, is seeking a junior accountant to join its impressive corporate accounting and management team in Manhattan, New York City. This is a hybrid role requiring four days in the office!

Job Function

• In Office Policy: Mon-Thur in office, Fridays from home
• Work closely with controllers and external auditors in the preparation and execution of financial statements.
• Perform rollforwards and monthly analysis of key account balances.
• Prepare various forecasts and ad hoc analyses as needed.
• Enhance and automate the reporting capabilities of the company’s general ledger.

Job Requirements

• 1 - 3 years experience in the field.
• CPA license preferred.
• Either Big 4 / Global 6 public accounting firm experience preferred and/or in house experience.
• Financial services industry experience, specifically asset management, preferred.
• Experience with Workday general ledger and/or Workiva a plus.
