RN Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) - Travel / Contract - Night

Travel ICU RN Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking an ICU RN for an 8‑week travel assignment in Petoskey, Michigan. Requirements One year of recent experience as an ICU RN Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification Responsibilities Provide comprehensive critical care to patients in the ICU, including assessing and monitoring critically ill patients. Operate life‑support equipment and administer advanced treatments. Perform advanced hemodynamic monitoring, including arterial lines, central venous pressure, and pulmonary artery catheters. Accurately document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record in a timely manner. Provide education to patients and families regarding the ICU environment, treatments, and recovery expectations. Communicate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care. Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency. Adhere to strict infection control protocols, hospital safety protocols, and regulatory standards. Maintain proficiency in critical‑care procedures and technologies through ongoing education and training. Read, write, and communicate in English; ability to remain stationary, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, bend. Cope with frequent contact with general public and customers under pressure, work under close supervision occasionally or independently. Possess visual acuity and effective communication skills.
