Senior ETL Developer (Talend)

Roles and Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Talend.
- Develop and implement data integration solutions across multiple source and target systems.
- Build and support SOAP and REST web service integrations within Talend.
- Create, optimize, and maintain data transformation jobs for structured and semi-structured data.
- Work with various file formats including JSON, XML, CSV, and flat files.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects as needed.
- Monitor ETL processes, troubleshoot issues, and improve performance.
- Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and development teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and adherence to data governance standards.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in ETL development.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Talend Data Integration.
- Strong experience implementing SOAP and REST web services using Talend.
- Solid understanding of relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience developing data transformations using JSON, XML, CSV, and flat file formats.
- Strong SQL programming and database querying skills.
- Experience with version control using Git.
- Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL best practices.
- Exposure to data quality, data governance, and metadata management.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
