MEP Superintendent

Job DescriptionStructure Tone, part of the STO Building Group, is looking to hire an experienced MEP Superintendent to support our projects in the New Jersey region. The Superintendent is responsible for the timely and cost-effective field coordination, quality control and day-to-day supervision of subcontracted work forces for construction projects.Responsibilities include but not limited to:Prepares the project schedule, maintains reports accurately describing project statusResponsible for the timely and cost-effective field coordination, quality control and day-to-day supervision of subcontracted work forces for construction projectsReviews status and project progress with the Project Manager and client representatives on a regular basis. Large projects include multiple Superintendents.Ensures safety standards and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craftsmen and others when operating tools and equipment.Directs sub-contractor activities within ground up construction projectsAnalyzes manpower, material, equipment requirements, and interfaces the requirements with others as designated by supervising superintendent.Implements and enforces policies, procedures and related work rules as established by field construction ManagementPrepares reports and forecasts, as required, and keeps supervisors informed on progress of overall assigned activitiesEnsures safety standards and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craftsmen and others when in the operational area, tools and equipment are in safe condition and operated safely.Coordination of Lock-out Tag-out with responsible subcontractors of utilities such as Nitrogen, Vacuum, Compressed Air, RODI, and SteamManage QA/QC and understanding of client engineering specifications or requirements.Qualifications:5+ years of field experience.Experience should include some supervisory responsibility as a General Foreman, Field Engineer or Assistant Superintendent.Well-developed, communications, interpersonal, organizational and teamwork skills are required.Salary: $165,000 - $205,000Benefits:The Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, 401(k) retirement plan with employer match, Life & AD&D Insurance, Long-term Disability Insurance, Short-term Disability Insurance, Critical Illness Insurance, Accident Insurance, Hospital Indemnity Insurance, Home & Auto Insurance, Family Support, Pre-tax Paid Parking/Public Transportation, Paid time off, Time Away Benefits, 10 Paid Holidays, Group Legal, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Identity Theft Protection, Pet Insurance, Employee Assistance ProgramDisclaimer: The salary and benefits information is accurate as of the date of this posting.
