Certified Medical Assistant - CMA - Primary Care

Role: Outpatient Certified Medical Assistant Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care, prepare patients, collect vital signs, assist with exams and procedures, perform EKGs, wound dressings, phlebotomy, and medication administration (non-IV). Support clinical documentation, patient scheduling, referrals, and billing inquiries. Ensure a safe, clean environment following infection control protocols. Facilitate patient communication, reinforce education, and assist with inventory and equipment maintenance. Participate in quality improvement and support new staff orientation. Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or GED required; CMA or RMA certification from recognized governing bodies (NHA, AMT, AAMA, etc.) preferred. Ability to perform clinical tasks and support patient needs efficiently. Strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and infection control protocols. Key Duties: Obtain and document patient visit information, assist with examinations, perform laboratory procedures, support clinical and administrative tasks, and ensure timely patient flow.
