Position Summary

Reliable Home Care Providers, Inc. is seeking an experienced and dependable Caregiver to provide in-home care for an elderly female client in Lake Bluff, Illinois. The client is non-ambulatory and has limited verbal communication. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, patient, reliable, and experienced in providing hands-on personal care.

Responsibilities

• Assist the client with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Assist with safe transfers and positioning.
• Operate a sit-to-stand transfer chair for client transfers.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Complete laundry and linen changes.
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Observe and report any changes in the client's physical condition, behavior, or overall well-being.
• Communicate concerns promptly to the supervisor or designated contact.

Schedule

• 20 hours per week
• 5 days per week
• 4 hours per day
• Afternoon shifts , with flexibility depending on the client's needs:
  • 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
  • 12:30 PM – 4:30 PM
  • 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
• Position available immediately

Requirements:

• Previous experience caring for elderly or non-ambulatory clients is required.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Experience assisting with all ADLs and personal care.
• Ability to operate a sit-to-stand transfer chair is required, or willingness to learn is a MUST.
• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to safely assist with transfers, feeding, bathing, toileting, and other personal care needs.
