OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Canton, OH by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description

HMD Trucking seeks experienced OTR solo CDL‑A dry van drivers to haul freight nationwide, operating out of the Canton area. Drivers run long‑haul lanes with pay starting at 65 CPM and average weekly mileage around 2,500.

Core responsibilities:

• Operate and perform pre/post‑trip inspections on dry van tractor‑trailers across interstate routes.
• Secure loads, manage paperwork and ELD logs, and communicate with dispatch on timing and issues.
• Maintain compliance with DOT and company safety standards.
