As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, manage access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. Using computer or tablet-based tools, you will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while supporting a welcoming environment. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at an automotive engineering and office location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, engineering spaces, parking areas, building entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials in accordance with site procedures; document visitor activity, incidents, and patrol observations accurately and promptly.
• Support emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations and directing personnel and visitors according to established site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
