Production Lead (River Ridge, LA)

Production Lead Essential Functions: Responsibilities: Toassistwiththeday-to-daystoreoperationandproductionperformancetomeetorexceed budgetwhileincompliancewithcompanystandards,policiesandprocedures.AProduction LeadperformsthedutiesofasupervisorwhenassignedbytheStoreManagerorProduction Manager.ProductionLeadsmayactinasupervisorycapacityduringscheduledworkhours.

1. Toreachproductiongoalguidelines(minimumof110garmentsperhourwithaminimumqualitystandardof90%).
2. Toensureproperproductionofdonationsgetprocessedandreadytoputonthestorefloor.
3. Toactasapositiverolemodelforemployeesandtraineesinallaspectsofprofessionalperformance.
4. Toproducedonatedgoodsinthebackroomadequately.Tocreateapositivepublic image of Goodwill through a clean store environment, attractive displays and presentable, personable personnel.
5. Tomaintainsafeandappropriateconditions intheback-roomarea.
6. Tokeepthestorecleanandhazardfreebyvacuuming,moppinganddusting, (including cleaning the bathrooms.)
7. Toobservepersonnelandsafetypoliciesandprocedures.ToensurecompliancebyProductionAssociates.
8. Tobeableto perform the jobduties oftheProductionAssociates.
9. Toattendworkontheregularlyscheduledshiftsasassignedbythemanagerfortheweek.

Skills and Abilities: 1. ToassisttheStoreManagerorProductionManagerinachieving/exceedingproduction goals both monthly and annually and to assist in implementing a contingency plan if goals are not being met. 2. Mustbeabletointeractprofessionallyandproductivelywithadiverse arrayofpeople. 3. MustbeabletomarketGoodwillandexplainthemissiontothegeneralpublic. 4. Mustestablishandmaintaineffectiveworkingrelationshipswith,andamong,store and production personnel while motivating them to their best performance. 5. Mustbeabletoworkaflexiblescheduleatshortnotice,includingnightsand weekends, and occasionally, long hours. 6. Mustbeabletouserepetitivehandmovementwhenbuttoning,sorting,hangingand zipping garments. 7. Mustbeabletoengageinprolongedstanding,walkingandinfrequentbending, stooping, and stretching. 8. Mustbeabletofunctioninafast-pacedworkenvironmentwithoccasionalperiodsof high volume. Requirements: 1. HighSchooldiplomaorGEDand6monthssupervisoryexperienceoraminimumof 90 days in the service industry. 2. Mustbeabletoread,writeandcommunicateclearlyinEnglish. 3. Priorworkexperience intheserviceindustrypreferred. 4. MustsuccessfullycompleteRetail training. Working Conditions: Frequent physical exertion, frequent movement, conditioned indoor temperatures with occasional exposure to outdoor temperatures and weather conditions.
