Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Duration: 6 months Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years in CVICU License: Active state or compact license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Experience with fresh hearts - 1:2 patient ratios Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in CVICU. The position requires proficiency in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. Experience with fresh hearts is essential. Nurse must be able to work a schedule of 36/48 hours. The patient ratio is 1:2. Candidates must have experience with Meditech EMR. Registered Nurses must reside within 75 miles of the facility. A driver’s license is required for position acceptance. Travelers must accept an 84-hour work schedule every two weeks. Up to 7 days of requested time off will be considered. The candidate must work a major or minor holiday. References are required from previous supervisors. Both references must be completed within the last year.
