About the Position

Description: The position is for a Respiratory Therapist specializing in Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics. This role involves working four consecutive night shifts of 12 hours each. The required certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS) and RRT. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Skills required for this position include the setup and management of aerosol therapy, BiPAP, and CPAP. Experience in performing arterial punctures and interpreting arterial blood gases is essential. The therapist should be knowledgeable in patient care for adults and geriatrics. Candidates must be capable of troubleshooting high-pressure alarms and weaning patients from mechanical ventilation. Additional skills include tracheostomy care/management and the administration of inhaled medications. The role requires flexibility and readiness to handle various patient diagnoses in a fast-paced environment.
