Respiratory Therapist PRN

Position Purpose

The Respiratory Therapist will provide cardio-pulmonary services according to the scope of the State Respiratory Practice and the hospital policy and procedure manuals. The Respiratory Therapist may administer and perform those direct and indirect cardio-pulmonary services, including but not limited to, the administration of pharmacological and diagnostic and therapeutic agents related to cardio-pulmonary procedures necessary to implement a treatment, disease prevention pulmonary rehabilitation, and diagnostic regimen prescribed by a physician using safe and aseptic techniques.

Position Requirements

1. Graduate of an American Medical Association approved School of Respiratory Care
2. Current National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) credential (i.e, CRT, RRT)
3. Current and valid State Respiratory Care Licensure
4. Minimum of 10 Years Experience
5. Excellent communication, customer service, organizational, prioritizing, and critical thinking skills
6. Must be able to read, write, and speak English
7. Sufficient hearing, vision and dexterity to perform duties safely
