Details 22-bed ER with vertical space for additional patients Staff includes approximately 50 team members with a Charge Nurse, nurses, techs, and medics per shift Patient ratio of 1:4 Uses Phillips and GE monitors and a Level 1 Rapid Infuser Meditech (EDM) EMR system Night shift 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM 13-week assignment Every other weekend required, including at least 1 Friday and 1 Monday within a 4-week schedule No on-call requirements Potential floating to the Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) approximately 15 minutes away Requirements Active VA or compact RN license Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CPI TNCC certification required Minimum 1 year of recent experience in the ER specialty Strong IV skills with both adult and pediatric patients required Excellent communication skills required Trauma experience preferred Meditech experience preferred No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Perform advanced ER procedures including cardioversion, central line placement, cardiac arrest response, pacemaker interrogation, suture/abscess setup, and basic ER skills such as IV insertions and EKGs Follow Code Stroke and Code Sepsis protocols Scrub attire is a teal top with black or teal bottoms Ideal candidates are team players who are energetic, professional, patient-focused, and adaptable to change Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility as local candidates are not accepted American Traveler Job ID P-742573.
