This full-time contract position offers the chance to make a real impact while collaborating with a dedicated team, including two classroom paraprofessionals. You’ll work with a small group of kindergarteners and first graders, each with unique learning needs, in an environment that values flexibility, compassion, and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver differentiated instruction across general and adapted curriculum content areas
• Develop, implement, and track progress toward IEP goals and accommodations
• Employ positive behavior supports and proactive intervention strategies
• Work collaboratively with administrators, related service providers, families, and support staff to ensure holistic student success
• Maintain accurate compliance documentation
• Foster a supportive, structured, and safe classroom environment

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Georgia Special Education Adapted Curriculum Certification
• Certification in all required academic content areas (Reading, Math, Science, Language Arts, Social Studies)
• Experience creating, writing, and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong understanding of behavior intervention and classroom management techniques
• Ability to provide three references for verification, including a recent supervisor
