Registered Nurse, Pacu

ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, PACU (Day Shift) in Asheville, North Carolina.

This is a 13-week contract position.

This position offers a 12-hour Day Shift from 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM.

Join our dynamic team in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) where you will provide critical care to patients recovering from anesthesia following surgical procedures. You will work in a unit with 40 beds, focusing on patient safety and comfort in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor vital signs and assist in postoperative recovery.
• Administer medications as prescribed and perform related patient care tasks.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide optimal patient care.
• Document patient assessments and updates in the electronic medical record system (Cerner).

Required Experience

• Experience in trauma and pediatric patient care.
• Advanced skills in ventilator monitoring.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• NIH Stroke Scale experience is preferred.
