Responsibilities

• Perform aseptic technique for sterile and non-sterile compounding, including IV mixtures; prepare chemotherapy as applicable.
• Enter orders into the charting system (EPIC); label and package medications; manage Pyxis dispensing workflows.
• Verify accuracy of medications prepared and dispensed; support medication distribution for inpatient units across age ranges from Neonates to Geriatrics.
• Assist with medication reconciliation, inventory management, and clinical workflow support on the inpatient pharmacy team.

Requirements

• Active Washington Pharmacy Technician License
• CPhT certification
• Minimum 1 year inpatient hospital experience
• EPIC charting experience; ability to navigate inpatient/acute care pharmacy workflows
• Ability to work in an inpatient hospital setting with the specified 5x8 evenings shift
• Travel eligibility: Non-local assignment; local residents within 50 miles are not eligible
• Compliance requirements: Two references covering 1 year (within last 3 years) required prior to start; pre-start modules averaging ~16 hours completed before start
