Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for Outpatient Infusion Nurses!

Job Description:


- Contract Guarantee: 72 Hours Biweekly on all Assignments
- Shift: 10H Days, 4x a week
- Requirement: Every 3rd Saturday
- Dynamic Infusion Room setting with 25 infusion chairs
- Treating adult patients with hematologic, oncologic, or medical diagnoses
- Patient load: 60-110 patients per day
- 2-3 infusion chairs assignment per nurse per shift
- Orientation: 1 week with provided LHMC required forms/learning/competencies
- Epic Experience Required
- Floating: Rare, based on staffing needs, last float date considered

Requirements:


- 2 years of experience with chemotherapy administration
- ONS chemotherapy provider card and BLS-AHA certification required
- Skills in accessing and deaccessing IVADs, PICC lines, and starting peripheral IVs
- Experience with Alaris infusion pumps and CADD pumps for home infusion therapy
- Proficiency in unit-specific procedures and protocols, including:
- Chemotherapy and medical infusion administration
- Blood transfusions
- Phlebotomy

Additional Information:


- Infusion room closed on select holidays including:
- 05/23, 05/25, 07/03-04, 09/05, 09/07, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day
- RTO requests not accepted at the time of submission
- Must be separated from BILH for 6+ months and in good standing to be considered
