OSF ITEMS OF NOTE: - Local Rate: Applies to clinicians with permanent addresses within 50 miles (-$25 to regular and OT bill rates) - OSF Call Off Policy: Equivalent of 12 hours every 13 weeks with no penalty or need to pay for the shift - Non-billable Orientation Hours: 12 hours, guaranteed hours will not apply during orientation REQUIREMENTS FOR SUBMISSION: - Last four (4) digits of clinician's SSN - Clinician's middle initial - Requested time off - Active IL license or confirmation that application process has been initiated - Your candidate understands OSF is a Drug-Free Campus and they must produce a negative drug screen for all panels Department: Pre/Post Angio - # suites/labs: 6 pre/post beds - #cases per day on average: Average 4-6 - Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS - Common diagnoses/Types of patients: STEMI, stroke, drain placement, line placement, all heart caths, peripheral angios, IVC placement, temporary pacemaker insertion, TEE's, cardioversions, EP studies - Experience or 'Must have' skills: Must be able to admit, prep and recover procedural cases from Cath, IR and EP. Must be able to read tele strips and titrate drips. Need to know mostly all IV medications. Prefer experience with peripheral angio cases & IR & neuro intervention. - EMR/Equipment: EMR - Epic. Equipment - Philips monitoring equipment - Is there a Manager/Charge Nurse on each shift?: Charge nurse - take an assignment sometimes - Cath Lab Techs: Yes - Shifts & Scheduling: 12hr Shifts - may have to stay late some shifts depending on cases - Scrub Color/Dress Code: Hospital scrubs provided - Unit/Department specific orientation: Usually it is 1 week, so 4 shifts
