Position Summary The Lead Sales Representative is responsible for generating new customer sales for Total Control Home Services pest control and related home service offerings. This position requires strong communication skills, excellent follow-up habits, confidence in presenting service options, and the ability to build trust quickly with residential and commercial customers. You will be responsible for identifying customer needs, explaining service plans, accurately representing company offerings, securing signed service agreements, maintaining accurate records, and helping customers feel confident choosing Total Control Home Services over competitors. This role also requires leadership qualities. As the company grows, the Lead Sales Representative may help strengthen sales procedures, improve customer scripts, support training, provide feedback to management, and set the professional tone for future sales hires. Key Responsibilities Sales & Revenue Growth The Lead Sales Representative will be expected to: Generate new customer sales for pest control and home services. Respond promptly and professionally to leads, inquiries, referrals, and follow-up opportunities. Educate customers on pest control service options, treatment plans, prevention strategies, and company value. Confidently present pricing, service agreements, and customer solutions. Close new residential and commercial service agreements. Follow up consistently with open leads, pending estimates, and undecided customers. Work to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals. Track sales activity accurately through company-approved systems, forms, or CRM tools. Maintain organized notes, customer details, signed agreements, and required documentation. Represent Total Control Home Services in a way that builds trust and encourages referrals. Customer Experience & Brand Representation You will be one of the first impressions many customers have of Total Control Home Services. That means professionalism is non-negotiable. You will be expected to: Communicate clearly, respectfully, and patiently with customers. Listen carefully to customer concerns before recommending a solution. Never pressure customers dishonestly or misrepresent services. Avoid making promises outside your authority. Escalate complex customer concerns to management when needed. Documentation & Compliance Accurate documentation is essential. You will be responsible for: Submitting complete and accurate customer contracts. Ensuring service agreements are properly signed. Documenting sales activity, customer communication, and service details. Following company pricing, approval, and discount procedures. Protecting confidential customer information, pricing, service strategies, and business records. Complying with company policies, Pennsylvania wage requirements, and applicable sales procedures. Maintaining confidentiality before, during, and after employment. Leadership & Team Contribution As a Lead Sales Representative, you are expected to set the standard. This may include: Helping improve the sales process as the company grows. Providing leadership feedback to management. Supporting future sales training and onboarding. Compensation Structure This position offers a base salary plus commission structure. Base Salary Annual salary is based on completed years of service with the company: Year 1: $25,000 annuallyYear 2: $28,000 annuallyYear 3: $32,000 annuallyYear 4: $35,000 annuallyYear 5+: $50,000 annually Salary is paid bi-weekly in accordance with applicable wage payment laws. Commission Opportunity Employees earn commissions based on the total amount of annual collected sales revenue directly generated by the employee. Commission tiers are structured as follows: $0$10,000 in annual sales: No commission$10,001$25,000 in annual sales: 12% commission$25,001$60,000 in annual sales: 18% commission$60,000+ in annual sales: 20% commission Commission tiers apply marginally, meaning each rate applies only to the portion of sales within that bracket. Additional earning opportunity may apply once major annual sales milestones are achieved, subject to the written compensation plan and company approval. Commissions are paid according to company policy once the applicable requirements have been satisfied, including signed customer agreement, completed service, and customer payment received. Ability to follow company pricing, sales, documentation, and compliance procedures. Reliable transportation if not assigned a company vehicle. A valid drivers license if driving is required for the role. Ability to pass any required background, driving, or pre-employment screening based on company policy and job duties. Preferred Qualifications The strongest candidates may also have: Experience in pest control, home services, lawn care, HVAC, roofing, solar, security, construction, insurance, real estate, or another in-home sales environment. Experience selling recurring service plans or maintenance programs. CRM experience or comfort learning sales software. Leadership, coaching, or team lead experience. Strong knowledge of Pennsylvania residential or commercial customer needs. A proven record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
