Support Military Families When It Matters Most

Choctaw Advantage Solutions (CAS) is building a Family Advocacy Surge Response Team of experienced clinical and nursing professionals who can provide rapid-response support during major installation emergencies, natural disasters, mass casualty events, and other crisis situations.

When activated, Surge Response Team members may be called upon to begin providing services within 12 hours of notification and may support emergency family assistance centers (EFACs), Family Advocacy Programs (FAP), and other critical response locations. Schedules may shift from standard business hours to 24/7 coverage, including split shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays , based on mission requirements.

Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) Registered Nurses (RN)
What You May Do

Depending on your discipline and the needs of the installation, Surge Response Team members may:

Provide crisis intervention, clinical counseling, nursing support, and family assistance.Support individuals and families affected by trauma, loss, domestic violence, child maltreatment, or other crisis situations.Provide victim advocacy, safety planning, assessments, referrals, and case management.Provide individual, family, and group interventions.Support FAP clinical and prevention services during periods of increased operational demand.Provide services at EFACs, MTFs, FAP facilities, and other designated response locations.Collaborate with FAP personnel, military leadership, healthcare providers, emergency response organizations, and community agencies.Maintain appropriate clinical documentation and comply with applicable FAP and MTF standards.Adapt quickly to changing priorities in a high-tempo emergency environment.
Minimum Qualifications

LCSW / LMFT:

Current, unrestricted U.S. LCSW or LMFT license.Master's degree from an appropriately accredited program (CSWE for LCSW; COAMFTE or qualifying equivalent for LMFT).Minimum 2 years of relevant post-master's/post-licensure clinical experience .Experience providing clinical services to individuals and families affected by or at risk for abuse or maltreatment.Experience facilitating or co-leading group therapy.Experience working with children, families, and/or groups in clinical or community-based settings.Eligible for and able to maintain required MTF clinical privileges.

RN:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.Current, unrestricted U.S. RN license in good standing.Minimum 2 years of professional nursing experience in Community Health, Maternal/Child Health, Child Abuse, Domestic Abuse, or a related area.Eligible for and able to maintain required MTF credentials and privileges.
Preferred Experience
Military or Air Force Family Advocacy Program (FAP) experience.Crisis intervention or emergency response experience.Domestic violence or child maltreatment intervention/prevention.New Parent Support Program (NPSP) or FAST experience.Home visitation or community-based clinical services.Experience working with military families.Multidisciplinary clinical team experience.Experience providing services in high-tempo or crisis environments.
Important Surge Requirements

All Surge Response Team members must meet the same credentialing, privileging, licensing, and background investigation requirements applicable to baseline FAP personnel.

Candidates must be able to respond within 12 hours of activation and be prepared to work flexible schedules, including 24/7 operations , when required by the mission.
