Accounts Payable AccountantPOSITION: Accounts Payable AccountantCLASSIFICATION: TechnicalGRADE LEVEL: One – FourSCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:The Accounts Payable Accountant processes vendor invoices for payment and processes payroll withholdings and submittals.SUPERVISION BY: Deputy Chief Financial OfficerPRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Analyze and process accounts payable invoices for paymentProcess payroll withholdings for settlementAudit contracts, purchase orders, vouchers and prepare reports to substantiate individual transactions prior to settlementAssist in annual tasks related to external audit requirementsMaintain consistent and effective relationships with internal and external customersPerform other duties, as assignedSKILLS AND ABILITIES:Ability to operate computer software necessary to perform job dutiesWriting and math skillsEffective communication skillsAttention to detailOrganizational skillsQUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
