This role will comply with Network Configuration Management Plans and sustain a Configuration Management Database (CMDB) tracking all SD-WAN and network assets and configuration items. The role includes ensuring all network configurations comply with encryption and cybersecurity standards defined by DISA and DoD CIO and managing network baselines aligned with change control actions and incident resolution activities within the approved ITSM system. Additionally, the candidate will document and enforce technical baselines to support change management, process and evaluate change requests, and maintain configuration control artifacts to support accreditation and monitoring in accordance with the DoD Risk Management Framework.The Configuration Manager will:Assist in the development of a baseline E2E M365 SaaS architecture and configuration in hybrid environmentMaintain detailed documentation of tenant configurationAssess planned and requested changes for risk, impact, and compliance with higher-level policies and directives across the hybrid environmentVerify and validate that approved changes achieve expected outcomes and monitor future changes and releases that may impact existing baseline configurationsEducation & Experience:Requires a current TOP SECRET Security ClearanceRequires current certifications in Azure Fundamentals and Azure AdministratorRequires a BS or Masters degree with 5+ years IT experienceFamiliar with tracking enterprise changes and version control of assets and configuration itemsExperience with Enterprise IT Configuration Management tools and hybrid IT architectures across on premise and SaaS offerings Working knowledge of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Framework and the DoD Risk Management FrameworkRequired Skills:Strong understanding of cloud computing and networkingSuperior organizational skills and capable of managing multiple projectsGreat communication skills (oral and written)Strong attention to detailClearance Required:Must have an active Top Secret security clearance at time of consideration.
