Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

This role focuses on repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining high-speed manufacturing, blow molding (EBM/SBM), and packaging equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation with minimal downtime. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, and support production teams in a clean, automated environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance on high-speed manufacturing equipment, including blow molders, conveyors, packers, and related machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using appropriate tools such as multimeters, PLC interfaces, and standard hand tools.
• Diagnose issues with blow molding (EBM/SBM) and packaging equipment and implement timely repairs to minimize unplanned downtime.
• Apply and follow safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records, documenting work performed, parts used, and equipment status in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), such as MaintainX.
• Update equipment records and maintenance history to support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.
• Assist with the installation, upgrading, and debugging of new plant equipment, including automated and robotic systems.
• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical blueprints and schematics to diagnose issues and plan repairs or installations.
